The Opportunity:

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you tackle complex challenges seamlessly with brokers and insurance partners
• Assess and underwrite personal lines risks in accordance with company guidelines and appetite
• Provide timely and competitive quotes for new business opportunities. Evaluate and manage renewals to ensure retention and profitability
• Build and maintain strong broker relationships to promote company products and foster business growth
• Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed production and profitability goals
• Ensure all underwriting practices adhere to regulatory and company standards
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth
• Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows
• Orchestrate multiple tasks, participating in the process of designing new guidelines and policies

Here’s what you bring:

• Use an analytical, driven, and pragmatic approach to underwriting a wide variety of risk types
• Demonstrate leadership by guiding other underwriters through their own decision making
• Independent and self-motivated, you have a broad understanding of underwriting and pricing discipline
• You have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in underwriting
