Receiver Full Time

Teknion Custom Solutions is looking for a Receiver to join our team. We are a wood office furniture manufacturer which produces a large variety of office furniture.

The receiver’s responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and reviewing vendor materials to facilitate the production of high-quality wood office furniture. The receiver contributes to the production team by communicating with co-workers and vendors on incoming or outstanding material purchases while adhering to production timelines.

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Receive and process deliveries presented at the receiving door
• Verify physical quantities against the packing slip
• Perform a thorough inspection of products for damage or variance from product specification and purchase order
• Distribute incoming product within the facility
• Document receipt transactions and quality report data Teknion software
• This physically demanding role requires that the incumbent must be capable of frequently lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs., as well as standing and walking for extended periods of up to 8 hours daily
• Assemble tack boards.
